"Keep your factory flying or die trying !"


Fly-O-Factory is the product of a 3 week Game Jam in my fourth semester of my  Game Design studies at HTW to the theme of VR Creativity.


According to the subject of creativity we wanted to craft a game that allows the player to build something with purpose and gameplay effects and avoid an open sandbox game.







Use the VR Grid as your building area to construct the three Object-types into an impenetrable defense!
Pay attention to the weight of your structures or see your whole building crash into the ground 

red numbers above the module -> structure is too heavy                    blue -> everything is A-ok 





Apart from your build defense systems you can also join in on the defense and shoot the attackers with your VR controller- guns.

As soon as the invaders destroy all of your supporting flotation modules you will lose.







During this 2 week project I was mainly responsible for the Art Direction, Game Design as well as the 3D asset production.




Concepts for the Factory modules players can use






Defensive Cubes - can hold off one enemy each




Flotation Module - lets your structures fly, but have to be protected





Turrets - target and shoot enemies but weigh your structure down a lot
